Gate construction begins at Fort Indiantown Gap

Construction crews recently began staging equipment and installing erosion and sedimentation controls at the future location of the installation’s main gate and visitors center on Fisher Avenue near Biddle Road. It will be the first of two planned access control points at Fort Indiantown Gap.

Army unveils new Black Hawk variant at Fort Indiantown Gap

A UH-60V Black Hawk helicopter is parked on Muir Army Airfield for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new variant on Oct. 6, 2021, at the Eastern Army National Guard Aviation Training Site at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa. EAATS receives new Black Hawk variant

A Uh-60V Black Hawk helicopter is secured after being flown to Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa., on July 27, 2021. The Pennsylvania National Guard’s Eastern Army National Guard Aviation Training Site received the first fielding of UH-60V Black Hawks from the Utility Helicopter Program Office.
Fort Indiantown Gap hosts advanced Honor Guard course

Trainers from the National Guard Bureau National Military Funeral Honors Program observe students demonstrating their proficiency of the six-Soldier flag fold during the MFH train-the-trainer course at Fort Indiantown Gap. Thirteen Soldiers from across the nation traveled to Pennsylvania to earn the NGB’s certification July 22 to become a MFH trainer. After successful completion of the course, the Soldiers will return to their states to train Soldiers in their home units to carry out MFH duties.
