Medic! 911th ASTS and 911th AES train in tactical combat care
July 11, 2019 — Airmen attached to the 911th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, 911th Aeromedical Staging Squadron and the Royal Air Force Leuchars, Scotland all joined together at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania for tactical combat care training in a combat simulation. The beginning of the week was spent in class learning the skills needed in a variety of combat situations and to be put into practice later on. In the end the Airmen had the opportunity to use mechanical mannequins which simulated breathing, bleeding and most major signs of life for their simulation. The instructors set up an entire scenario with three different locations to give the Airmen an overall sense of the different environments they might be in... MORE

The Regional Training Site – Maintenance Fort Indiantown Gap hosted its annual German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge competition on May 31-June 2. The RTS-M Fort Indiantown Gap falls under the command and control of the 94th Training Division, which supports the 80th Training Command's mission of more than 2,700 instructors providing essential training to Army Reserve, National Guard, and Active Duty Soldiers.
