1-112th Infantry trains on new Infantry Squad Vehicle
U.S Soldiers with Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 112th Infantry Regiment, 56th Mobile Brigade Combat Team were introduced to the Infantry Squad Vehicle June 17, 2026, at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania. New Range Maintenance facility under construction at Fort Indiantown Gap
A new range maintenance building is currently in construction at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, June 5, 2026. The new building, now located on the very west end of Range road, is set to be completed in February of 2027. The new structure will be an upgrade for the range maintenance team, offering an improvement in safety and aiding in adopting a more forward-leaning approach on emerging technology. Upcoming Training Events

Training events that could result in increased noise levels are announced as a courtesy to the public.

  • Live grenade training is scheduled for June 8 to 10 between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.

  • Mortar training is scheduled for June 8 to 15 and June 20 to 28 between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.

  • Helicopter door gunnery training is scheduled for June 11 between 7:30 and 10:30 p.m.

  • Artillery training is scheduled for June 24 to 27 between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
