The capabilities of the 166th Regiment RTI's 1st and 2nd Battalions melded during a unique artillery live-fire exercise, during which forward observers with 1st Battalion used several types of SUAS, including commercial off the shelf models like the Skydio X2D, to identify targets and acquire targeting data.
