The Fort Indiantown Gap Police operates 24/7. The police force is responsible for the following functions: law enforcement, security, security control center, alarm monitoring, post operator, billeting office after hours, Red Cross notifications and general information center. Police officers employed by the Fort Indiantown Gap Police are state employees with full arrest powers; additionally the force employs unsworn State security officers.
